Vietnam's Industry and Trade Electronic News reported on December 4 that the country' s solar market is still developing well despite the impact of COVID-19. As of July 2020, the total installed rooftop solar capacity in Vietnam reached 925.8MW. According to Vietnam Power Group's estimates, by the end of 2020, the total installed capacity of rooftop solar energy in Vietnam will reach 2GW, and by 2030, the total capacity will exceed 4GW, of which industrial and commercial projects will account for 95%.
Vietnam, as a country with relatively large solar energy resources, is a potential development market of UISOLAR. We have offered many projects for Vietnam market.
Its radiation levels are about 4-5kW/h/m2/day and the number of hours of sunshine is up to 2,600 hours/year, especially in central, western and southern areas. In the face of economic development, environmental factors and the urgent need for electricity in response to climate change, the Vietnamese government has issued many policies to encourage the development of solar energy (on-grid projects and rooftop solar projects), Decision No. 13/QD-TTg of April 20, 2020 replaced Decision No. 11/QD-TTg of 2017.
The market for solar energy in Vietnam, including rooftop pv, has grown rapidly in recent years thanks to government incentives. By August 2020, Vietnam has about 6.3GW of solar capacity in operation. With rooftop solar alone, the Vietnamese market has added 274MW of capacity in the first five months of 2020.
UISOLAR , as one of main supplier for solar racking, offered many solar racking /components to Vietnam market. Our solar components for rooftop are popular in Vietnam, and Southeast Asia.
